This eyeglass case was produced in the late 1940’s – 1950’s. The body was designed with their signature armor mesh, but instead of square panels, they used small circular ones. Both the frame and the body are silver. All the mesh is secured to the frame and in good condition, but there is some wear to the finish.
The interior has the original Whiting and Davis tag sewn onto the side (this tag style was used after WWII). The lining is in poor condition, but was kept intact because it authenticates the case.
